Michael Zuri, D.P.M
Dr. Zuri was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida. He stayed in the South Florida area for medical school where he was Salutatorian at Barry University in Miami. He then went on to 3 year residency training at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, FL. During his training, he was exposed to the most up to date foot and ankle surgical techniques and served as chief resident his last year. He firmly believes in non-surgical treatments and that non-operative methods are successful in most cases. However, if surgery is required, Dr. Zuri will be able to utilize the most advanced methods.
His particular areas of interest are: Foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, bunion and hammertoe correction, wound care, sports injuries, tendon and ligament injuries, minimal incision endoscopic plantar fasciitis surgery, Diabetic limb salvage and foot/ankle trauma.
Outside of practice, Dr. Zuri enjoys playing basketball, watching all Florida Gator sports, and playing with his dog Jessie.
